Replanting a Rainforest, the way I see it.

Dear friends at the Open World Cafe,I am the guy who made the video about the project Replanting a Rainforest - Restoring Natural Springs in Brazil. Being part of that as a videomaker was great! The video was on my website right away at the time, but now I would like to share with you the information that it finally came to the front page as one of the most important news there. If you have the time, do check it out: www.primeiroolhar.com.brBest…See More

Profile Information

How did you hear about Open World Café?
I first heard about Open World Café through Marcos Croce, a client and friend of mine for whom I have been making videos about sustainability in Brazil.
About Me:
Reality, the way I see it, has its share of faith and fiction. Who am I? Sometimes I am a walking disaster, sometimes I am an all right guy, but, I am not so sure about all that. Overcoming is bliss. So, I think that loving and understanding are the most wonderful things in this life, though I am not into speeches about that. I like to listen and watch, and then weave my thoughts.
About my business:
My business is mainly making videos, but I also work as a photographer, and writing is what originally inspired me. The point is that I really enjoy telling a good story, and I do it professionally.
What I want:
I want to be a better person. And I want the world to be a better place for everyone.
What I´m doing about it:
Well, I am trying… But, there are no tricks, no shortcuts. Being honest to myself and knowing when to change what I am doing is fundamental. And searching for what is good in people and in their life projects is of utmost necessity, so that I can help and be a part of it.
For me, Leadership is . . .
Leadership is about knowing that we are not alone and asking people for help.
For me, Sustainability is . . .
Sustainability is about knowing how to share our lives, values, properties, accomplishments, the earth, the sun and the sky with the communities around us.
For me, Open World Café is . . .
Open World Café is a cool place to know people, exchange ideas and start new projects.
My contribution to Open World Café is . . .
I hope to contribute making videos about sustainability, and sharing my thoughts whenever possible.
My Favourite Quote:
“I have a dream today.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
It just came to my mind.
My favourite movie, and my favourite book
I have no favorites. But I could say I really liked "Julia & Julie" recently, and that I have read mostly poetry in my life.
My passion is . . .
I love walking on the beach.
My greatest fear is . . .
I don’t know. Maybe having Binswanger disease, like my father did.
