Hey Pausha, when you are cooking, do you ever disconnect, go to the mountain, come back, and realize you made dinner on autopilot, while that peice of you was gone? Sometimes, for me, the food even turns out better. What mountain do you live near? P…

Jacob, here, here! Well said! You know what this reminds me of? We have these ridiculous commercials here in the states where people need to lower their cholesterol, so they try to do it by eating oatmeal or oat based cereal every day for a month. R…

About Me:
Once upon a time I was a Political Science major with a minor in Environmental Studies. Now, I'm a parent who spends time writing, painting, reading, drawing, creating, and thinking....always thinking. One of my goals is to raise children who consider the globe their home, making educated daily choices that honor the entire planet and everyone who lives here.
What I want:
I want to provide education, food, nurturing, safety, medical care, hope, and the option of responsible self sustainability to children in the third world nation of Nicaragua.
What I´m doing about it:
I am writing a children's book with the intent (hope) it will be published and successful, generating enough revenue to support mission work in Nicaragua.
For me, Leadership is . . .
Affecting change and action in others by walking the walk, consistantly.
For me, Sustainability is . . .
incumbant upon me and every other human to address in our daily choices. How am I expending energy in my food choices, transportation, purchases, and home routines?
For me, Open World Café is . . .
A world forum of people with juicy brains and people who want to make their brains more juicy, exchanging ideas in the attempt to improve themself as a person and the planet they're a part of.
My contribution to Open World Café is . . .
a mystery to me for now....but all truths come to the surface eventually.
My Favourite Quote:
I want them [his neice and nephew] to understand the power of their own humanity....to use it and exercise it....to know they can make change in this world. That one person can make all the difference.

my little brother, Warren McPherson
My passion is . . .
not going to be listed here, today.

Dear Margottina, welcome to Open World Café! Will we be able to read excerpts from your children's book here on Open World Café? Perhaps you would like to tell us about your project in Nicaragua? Looking forward to seeing you here often! Happy New Year! Christer
