Hmmm, Knowledge? :-) I listened to it, very valuable information indeed, and from that level to be taken seriously. I would have liked to see the slides JP referred to though - I guess there's nothing like being there!

Love this post, Pausha - great stuff! I couldn't agree more - it's all and always a matter of choice. If you strive towards being the best you can be...LOVE, and not hate REIGNS in everything you do. On my continuous journey I've found it amazing…

It's great to be alive in such an exciting period of human history! I particularly like to image of "slower", more "felt" existence. There is so much more to life than being a "consumer"; being with friends in nature, preparing an organic meal, per…

Great talk at LSE by Jonathon Porritt, Co-Founder of Forum for the Future

This is a talk by Jonathon Porritt I went to the other day. He talks of climate change within the economic framework...

http://richmedia.lse.ac.uk/publicLecturesAndEvents/20100204_1830_climateCrunchMakingTheEconomicsFit.mp3

The lecture was part of a series of talks on sustainability that LSE is running through at the moment.

How about we start selling heaven... rather than hell?

When it comes to how we talk about climate change and a sustainable future...this has been one of the most insightful lessons of this year.

It's been a crazy fall for me, especially professionally seen as I have spent the past 4 months with Futerra Sustainability Communications (www.futerra.co.uk).

Call it luck, personally I'd like to blame it on synchronicity - I temporarily worked as Co-Founder Solitaire Townsend's Executive Assistant -… Continue

Slow-down is on in London town, the UK AWARE fair and other goodies...

Good wonderful weekend!

For those residing in the same corner of the world, I hope you are enjoying the spring time temperatures - London really is beautiful at the moment!

This weekend the city has gone over into "Slow mode" or at least it is supposed to have done so..."Slow down London - Living life in real time" is the name of the festival which aims to encourage people to take a break from their hectic schedules to just "chill out" - by joining in on long and slow walks through the city, p… Continue

IFC, The Hub and samba tunes...

Hello everybody!

Have been in Spain over Easter and am now back in London town with lots of new material for OWC. A lot of very interesting events in the past few weeks!

Before leaving for Spain I went to a very inspiring and helpful "First Fridays - Free Fundraising Clinic" advice session organized by John Baguley and the IFC (International Fundraising Clinic) - John, thank you for that!

Querida Christiana,
Foi um dia muito bom, tranqüilo e quente.
Agora recebo o melhor presente: um beijo seu!
Pronto ganhei o dia, rsrsrsrsr.

Beijo

Hi Christiana.

This is the only way I can send you a file, since it is not possible to attach files to mails on this network, and I don't have an e-mail adress. Feel free to delete the comment on your wall when you have downloaded the file.

The file contains a pesentation, that I'm currently working on together with Christer. I'm trying to tie all the different aspects of "Replanting a Rainforest" into a neat, simple package. If we're succesfull, I'm sure that the presentation will serve as a template for a stand alone website for the project.

The reason, I'm sending it to you now is that it gives you an idea of the framework, the badge will be fitted in to. In the presentation the links and menus actually work.

Again ... just a little inspiration/alignment

Yes, very interesting so far - I've been mentioning OWC to my clients all week and have had a very positive response so far!

I think Sindbad is away now until Wednesday but we must arrange another cinema trip for when he is back. Look forward to catching up with you then. Hope you're well.
