Dialogues on Sustainability, Leadership and Resilience

My interest in PermaCulture Design (PCD) is growing steadily stronger, not least because of this concept of a "Chaordic" structure in the networking and sharing of resources, knowledge, experiences etc.

I understand Chaordic to mean "Independent Collaboration", highly independent groups and/or individuals who want to share something without jeopardizing their independence. I think that it lies in the nature of groups/individuals wanting something truly "new", without historical, cultural, political, religious strings attached, to be fiercely independent, indeed how would they otherwise survive, on the margins of a society bent on doing "business as usual"?

I have the images from your ppt presentation Stella in mind when I think of ways to access more information and knowledge about different Permaculture initiatives (Perhaps you could upload it - the english version?)

A Chaordic PermaCulture Insitute would then be (in my understanding) a way for PCD (or CPCD?) initiatives to share while maintaining total independence, and getting credit for their work? If so, the question then arises: Are fiercely independent groups open to the concept of sharing? And how can we invite more individuals/groups to this discussion?

Am I on the right track here?

A footnote: We are expanding on our "Replanting a Rainforest" project to include PCD, more details soon.
